How Do They Do It?

How Do They Do It? is a TV show on Discovery Channel that is made by Wag TV. Each show looks at how two or three everyday things are made and used. "Behind the commonplace is the exceptional" is the show's slogan. The show is shown all over the world on networks owned by Discovery, such as: Discovery Channel, Science Channel, DMAX and Quest in the UK; Science Channel in the USA; Discovery Channel in Australia, Asia, Belgium, Canada, France, Spain, Switzerland, and the Netherlands; Italy has the Discovery Channel and Discovery Science. Rupert Degas narrated Series 1 and 2, which were made with Rocket Surgery Productions. Iain Lee narrated Series 3 and 4, and Dominic Frisby narrated Series 5 and 6. In 2008, Robert Llewellyn started showing the show on Channel 5 in the UK. In May 2010, this version was put out on DVD in the UK. The series is shown in the US on the Science Channel, and Chris Broyles reads the script. This show is similar to How It's Made, a popular Canadian documentary that is also shown on Discovery Channel networks.
