Huge
The ABC Family television network aired the short-lived drama series Huge. The series is based on the same-titled young-adult novel by Sasha Paley. The hour-long drama series follows eight adolescents sent to Camp Victory, a summer weight loss camp. The pilot was written by Winnie Holzman and her daughter Savannah Dooley. Casting began in January, and filming began in April of 2010. On June28,2010, at 9 p.m., 2.53 million individuals watched the premiere of the series. ABC Family stated on October4, 2010 that Huge would not receive an additional episode order, therefore cancelling the series.
