In Loving Memory
Thora Hird and Christopher Beeny starred in the British sitcom In Loving Memory, which was set in the past and about a funeral home. Thames Television sent out a pilot in1969, but the idea was turned down. It was finally picked up by Yorkshire Television in1979, where it ran for five series until 1986.
