Kidnapped
Alan Breck Stewart, played by David McCallum, is a rebellious young guy who is also aided by a slew of British character performers, including Bill Simpson, Patrick Allen, Andrew Keir, Patrick Magee, and Frank Windsor. After attempting to assassinate David Balfour upon his arrival at his uncle's desolate Scottish estate to claim his inheritance, the latter orders David's removal from Scotland and eventual sale to the colonies as a slave. For the young man's benefit, Alan Breck Stewart, who is on the run after the defeat of Bonnie Prince Charlie at Culloden, forms up a friendship with him. They manage to land and move out for Edinburgh, avoiding the vicious Redcoats, after a ship's captain attempted to assassinate Breck for his money.
