In the middle of the battle, professional boxer Tommy "Little Dog" Ross, who is the odds-on favorite to win a Championship Belt, has a meltdown of world-class proportions and exits the ring. We catch up with him again five years later, when he is living a life of general self-destruction. He is shown on tape engaging in a bar fight, which prompts an old adversary named Rico "Havoc" St. George to challenge him to a rematch for the championship. In order for Tommy to make the decision on whether or not he should return to the ring, he has a hard time shutting off the chatter of his independent-minded relatives in his household.
