Lovers
TV series Lovers stars Kim Jung-eun and Lee Seo-jin as a plastic surgeon and a crime syndicate member who form an unexpected romantic relationship. For a total of 20 episodes, it was broadcast on SBS every Wednesday and Thursday at 21:55 from November 8, 2006 to January 11, 2007. Director Shin Woo-chul and writer Kim Eun-sook have completed the "Lovers" trilogy with their third and final film. Lovers was filmed entirely on China's Hainan Island, as opposed to earlier chapters Lovers in Paris and Lovers in Prague, which were both partially filmed in Europe. According to reports, Lee Man-stage hee's drama Turn Around and Leave served as inspiration for the 1998 hit film A Promise, starring Jeon Do-yeo and Park Shin-yang.
