Macross Zero
Occurring one year prior to the events of the initial Macross collection, Macross Zero narrates the final days of the battle between the U.N. Spacy as well as anti-U.N. factions. After being rejected by the anti-U.N.'s newest competitor plane, ace pilot Shin Kudo discovers himself on the remote island of Mayan, where modern technology is virtually non-existent. While Shin remains on the island to recover his wounds, the harmony of the island is shattered by a fight that entails the UN's newest competitor - the VF-0.
