Melrose Place is an American prime-time soap opera that aired on Fox from July 8, 1992, to May 24, 1999, for a total of seven seasons. It depicts the lives of a group of young adults who live in a brownstone apartment complex on Melrose Place in Los Angeles, California. The show was made by Darren Star for Fox, and Aaron Spelling's company, Spelling Television, was in charge of producing it. It is the second Beverly Hills, 90210 show. The first and second seasons were shown on Wednesdays at 9 p.m., right after Beverly Hills, 90210. In1994, the show moved to Mondays at 8 p.m. for the start of its third season. During the run of the show, there were a lot of cast changes. Thomas Calabro was the only original cast member who stayed on the show for the whole time it was on. The sitcom was nominated for numerous Golden Globes and was ranked #51 on Entertainment Weekly's list of "New TV Classics."
