Mickey Mouse Clubhouse premiered on Disney Channel on May5, 2006. It was originally part of the Playhouse Disney preschool block. Disney Junior replaced Playhouse Disney on February 14, 2011. The only Mickey Mouse preschool program. Co-creator Bobs Gannaway also created Jake and the Never Land Pirates. In the spring of2009, production was halted for four months owing to the loss of Wayne Allwine, the longtime voice of Mickey Mouse. Production resumed when Bret Iwan was cast as Mickey's fourth voice. Bill Farmer, the voice of Goofy and Pluto, said on Twitter on June23, 2013 that Mickey Mouse Clubhouse would end after 7 years of programming. Reruns will continue on Disney Junior 24/7.
