Paradise Beach
Village Roadshow Pictures makes the Australian TV show Paradise Beach. It has to do with the show New World Television for the Nine Network, which ran from 1993 to 1994. The show is about people who live and work on Queensland's Gold Coast. Most of it was shot on location, so you can see crashing waves, golden beaches, and young men and women in skimpy clothes. Paradise Beach was made to compete with Australian soaps like Neighbours and Home and Away. It was also meant to be the first Australian soap to become popular in the U.S.
