Pizza
Pizza was an Australian television programme that aired on SBS. Fat Pizza, a feature-length film based on the series, was published in2003, as was a best-of highlights video/DVD with previously unseen footage and a schoolies exposé in 2004. Furthermore, a stage production dubbed "Fat Pizza," starring various characters from the show, has toured the Australian east coast. Pizza's occasionally mean-spirited dark comedy is produced through sardonic and self-conscious references to ethnicity and stereotypes, vehicles, sex, illicit drugs, and violence. The television show is notable for the frequent cameo appearances of a wide range of Australian celebrities, including actors, comedians, professional athletes, and other prominent personalities.
