Rubí
José Alberto Castro produces the Mexican telenovela Rub for Televisa. It is based on Yolanda Vargas Dulché's short story, which was serialized in the Mexican comic book Lágrimas, Risas y Amor in the 1960s. Rub, a dual protagonist/antagonist, is played by Bárbara Mori. From May 17 through October22,2004, Apuesta para un amor replaced Rub on Canal de las Estrellas. Rub aired on Univision from September20, 2004 to March7,2005, and was voted the best telenovela of all time by the network.
