Science of Stupid

This presentation blends cold hard science with some of the most bizarre, amazing, and traumatic user-generated clips ever captured. Richard Hammond uses bespoke cartoons and super slo-mo cinematography to showcase a wide range of catastrophes involving heroic, if misguided, people from all around the world, and then explains the science behind their failure and humiliation. Between 50 and 60 examples of misadventure-regular people making remarkable mistakes–are included in each episode. Each week, see feats requiring weightlifting, shooting weapons, or jumping over automobiles that have gone wrong, and then pause, rewind, re-play, and analyze what went wrong and why. Richard first discusses the physics, chemistry, and biology at work, before going into forensic detail to explain why the experiment failed. He'll examine everything from weight to volume to momentum to combustion to the brain's operation. This is how a misadventure is defined. The Science of Stupidity is a field of study that deals with the study of stupidity.
