Stand Up for the Week is a British comedy show shown on Channel 4 that features stand-up comedy performances based on current events. The show premiered on Friday nights in June 2010, with a six-episode first season, before switching to Saturday nights in March 2011. Patrick Kielty hosted the inaugural season, which featured regular performers Jack Whitehall, Kevin Bridges, Andi Osho, and Rich Hall. For the second series, Bridges took over as presenter from Kielty, with Jon Richardson joining as a regular performer. Apart from Rich Hall, Richardson took over as host for the third series, which aired in late 2011, and a whole new group of regular performers joined the show: Seann Walsh, Sara Pascoe, Josh Widdicombe, and Paul Chowdhry. Andrew Lawrence took over for Rich Hall in the fourth series. Chowdhry will take over as host for the fifth season, however it is unclear who will replace him or if any other regulars have been replaced.
