State of Georgia is a situation comedy that airs on American television. It stars Raven-Symoné, Majandra Delfino and Loretta Devine. The half-hour multi-camera comedy series stars Raven-Symoné as Georgia, an aspiring actress with a larger-than-life attitude, and her scientific nerd best friend, Jo, who are attempting to advance professionally and personally in New York City. From June 29 through August 17, 2011, the series aired on ABC Family. The debut of the pilot episode garnered 1.32 million viewers. ABC Family canceled State of Georgia on September16,2011, due to weak ratings.
