Steins;Gate 0
The untold story of Steins;Gate that begins with the eccentric mad scientist Okabe attempting to recover from a botched attempt to save Kurisu. In an effort to forget the past, he resolves to leave his scientist alter ego. When everything appears to be normal, he encounters a friend of Kurisu who informs him that they have began testing a gadget that preserves the memory of a human and generates a simulation of them with their traits and personality. Okabe commences testing and discovers that the simulation of Kurisu has reintroduced agony as well as new unanticipated catastrophes. Zero is a side narrative that explores future occurrences in the Beta Attractor Field that lead to the primary story's conclusion.
