Tatau
Tatau follows Kyle and Budgie, two London pals in their twenties who embark on a journey around the globe. Kyle gets a tattoo in the Maori style to commemorate the Cook Islands, their eventual destination. Kyle discovers the corpse of a native girl named Aumea while diving in a lagoon. Kyle, returning with the police to the lagoon, discovers that the body has vanished. Kyle, however, is aware of what he witnessed. Kyle and Budgie, desperate to discover what transpired, are drawn deeper and deeper into a world of Maori tales, symbols, and hallucinogenic visions... until the whole significance of Kyle's tattoo is eventually revealed.
