That Girl

ABC ran That Girl from 1966 through 1971. It stars Marlo Thomas as Ann Marie, an ambitious actress who moves from Brewster to New York City. Ann works odd "temp" jobs to support herself between auditions and roles. Ted Bessell played her boyfriend, Newsview reporter Donald Hollinger; Lew Parker and Rosemary DeCamp played her parents Lew and Helen Marie. Bernie Kopell, Ruth Buzzi, and Reva Rose were Ann and Donald's pals. That Girl was created by Bill Persky and Sam Denoff, who wrote The Dick Van Dyke Show in the 1960s.
