The Adventures of Peter Pan

The Adventures of Peter Pan is a Japanese animation series created by Takashi Nakamura and Yoshio Kuroda that aired on Fuji TV from January 8, 1989 to December 24, 1989. It was a 41-episode adaptation of James Matthew Barrie's iconic Peter Pan novel. It was part of Nippon Animation's World Masterpiece Theater series, which created an animated rendition of a new classical book or narrative each year. While the anime adapts content from the novel, it also introduces a number of new story arcs. Later on, the series was translated and broadcast to a global audience. It was televised across Europe on Telecinco, RTL Television, Kika, Italia1, TV3 and Fox Kids, Yleisradio, and TVP 2. It was also broadcast in nations like Israel, Brazil, Mexico, and the Philippines.
