The Alaskans

The Alaskans is a 1959-1960 ABC/Warner Brothers western television series set in the late 1890s in Skagway, Alaska. During the height of the Klondike Gold Rush, Roger Moore plays "Silky Harris" and Jeff York plays "Reno McKee," a pair of adventurers set on swindling tourists going for the Yukon Territories. The entrance of singer "Rocky Shaw," "an performer with a penchant for the better things in life," unavoidably complicates their plans. The show was Roger Moore's first regular role on American television.
