The story of Wilkin Brattle, a warrior living in the 14th century, whose life is irrevocably altered when he receives a message from a divine messenger imploring him to put down his sword and live the life of another man: a journeyman executioner. This blood-soaked, medieval epic tells the story of how Wilkin Brattle's life was forever changed by this message. Wilkin must walk a tightrope between protecting his true identity and serving a mystery destiny in this story that takes place in the north of Wales during a time when revolt and political turmoil were prevalent.
