Raymond "Red" Reddington gives himself up in person at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. He was one of the most wanted criminals by the FBI. He says that he and the FBI want to catch dangerous criminals and terrorists for the same reason. In the last 20 years, he has made a list of the most important criminals and terrorists that the FBI can't find because it doesn't know they exist. This is what "The Blacklist" means to Reddington. Reddington is willing to help, but he will only talk to a new FBI profiler named Elizabeth Keen.
