The Cost of Winning
The Panthers football team was kicked out of their private school league in 2018 because they were "too good," which sparked a lot of debate about racial bias. The Panthers were a source of both pride and controversy. The team found itself without a league to play in, so they made their own schedule. They traveled across the country in search of the best competition and the chance to show off their players as they tried to get athletic scholarship money.
