The Fugitive

The Fugitive is a 1963–1967 ABC drama series written by Roy Huggins and produced by QM Productions and United Artists Television. David Janssen plays Richard Kimble, a doctor who is wrongfully accused of his wife's murder and sentenced to die. Kimble's train derails and crashes en route to death row, allowing him to flee and launch a cross-country quest for the true perpetrator, a "one-armed guy." At the same time, Dr. Kimble is being pursued by authorities, most notably Police Lieutenant Philip Gerard. The Fugitive ran for four seasons and generated a total of 120 51-minute episodes. The first three seasons were shot in black and white, while the fourth season was shot in color. The Fugitive is now a weekly Me-TV show as of October 2012. The Fugitive was voted No. 36 on TV Guide's list of the 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time in 2002. The one-armed man was ranked #5 on TV Guide's 2013 list of The 60 Nastiest Villains of All Time.
