The Incredible Hulk is a Marvel Comics-based animated show. 13 episodes aired on NBC in 1982 as part of an hour with Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends. Unlike the previous live-action The Incredible Hulk television series from Universal in the 1970s, this series was based on the comic-books and was able to portray the more fantastical elements of the comics, such as his true name and origin, and the return of the original characters in his life, which the live-action series refused to show. It had Marvel-like tales. New recurrent characters are Rio and Rita, a Hispanic father and daughter.
