Anna Macy left Kettering when she was 14 years old, shortly after her best friend, Gillian Baxter, vanished mysteriously. They were playing in the forbidden woodlands outside of Kettering when they noticed weird lights in the sky. Anna was discovered alone and covered in blood eight hours later. Anna returns 15 years later to find a town in desperate need of help. Forests have been designated for logging, and passionate but violent battles between environmentalists and local loggers are tearing the community apart.
