A shining fortress of medical research and development, The Kingdom Hospital in Denmark has the most cutting-edge medical technology of any facility in the country. The staff's confidence in science is being shaken, however, by a series of unexplainable occurrences. For example, a ghost ambulance pulls up to the hospital every night and then vanishes; voices reverberate in the elevator shaft; and a pregnant doctor's fetus appears to be growing much more rapidly than would be expected.
