The Lot

The Lot is a 30-minute drama-comedy that ran on AMC from 1999 to 2001 for two seasons and sixteen episodes. It depicted the fictional firm Sylver Screen Pictures and the chases of its iconic stars throughout the 1930s. The show was neither a commercial nor critical success, but Jeffrey Tambor, Rue McClanahan, Linda Cardellini, and Michael York had recurring roles that were noteworthy. The Lot also refers to a Hollywood, California studio lot once known as the Samuel Goldwyn Studio.
