The Master

Michael Sloan created The Master, a ninja-themed action-adventure TV series that aired on NBC. The show follows the exploits of aging ninja master John Peter McAllister and his teenage apprentice Max Keller. Similar to its more well-known counterpart, The A-Team, most episodes centre on the mismatched couple driving about in a custom van, helping those in need along the way. The Master barely lasted 13 episodes before being canceled. In 1984 and 1985, the series was cut into seven films that were distributed on video.
