The Middleman

American television series titled The Middleman. Based on the Viper Comics title The Middleman, written by Javier Grillo-Marxuach and Les McClaine, Javier Grillo-Marxuach developed this series for ABC Family. In 2008, the series ran for one season. Due to low ratings, the initial order of 13 episodes has been trimmed to 12 episodes. A comic book based on the unproduced thirteenth episode was announced in February 2009, announcing the series' discontinuation. The Middleman - The Doomsday Armageddon Apocalypse was released in July 2009 as the "series finale." Shout! Factory published the whole series on DVD on July 28, 2009.
