The Pretender

Jarod is a Pretender, a genius with remarkable intelligence who can assume any identity he wants, including doctor, test pilot, and lawyer. Jarod was taken from his parents at a young age and raised in the Centre, a think-tank facility where he believed his computer-like intelligence was being harnessed for manking's benefit. However, Jarod escaped when he discovered that the simulations he had solved were being sold to the highest bidder regardless of their purpose. Now on the run, Jarod sets out to find his true identity while also attempting to right whatever wrongs that his simulations have created by assisting individuals who are just as powerless as he was.
