The Virginian

From 1962 until1971, NBC aired 249 episodes of The Virginian, starring James Drury and Doug McClure, a Western-themed television series. A spin-off of the summer 1958 series Decision, this one aired on NBC. The Virginian was the first 90-minute western series to be filmed in color on television. It lasted for nine seasons, making it the third longest-running western on television.
