Widows
ITV was the network that broadcast the British primetime television series Widows in1983. The series was produced by Euston Films for Thames Television and was broadcast on ITV. Lynda La Plante, who specializes in writing about criminals, penned all six parts of the series that revolved. Verity Lambert served in the capacity of executive producer. The eerie piece of music that was played at various points throughout the first season of Widows and at the end of the credits for the second season is "What Is Life to Me Without Thee" from the opera L'Orfeo. Kathleen Ferrier is the singer who performs this piece.
