Wild West
The situation comedy Wild West starred Dawn French and Catherine Tate from October 2002 to April 2004. It was a dark comedy written by Simon Nye and shot in Cornwall. Wild West, which is set in the Cornish hamlet of St. Gweep, examines the bizarre occurrences in the local community. In this sitcom, Mary Trewednack and her life partner Angela are the major characters, but there are many more as well. Both shows have gained retrospective praise. The majority of the television series was shot in the Cornwall village of Portloe.
