Julián Torralba used to be a stuntman in Almeria, Spain, but he is no longer. A lot of people who used to work on American Westerns that were shot in Spain are now performing stunts for small crowds on the set that was used in those movies. In the past, Julián's son, also a stuntman, died. He also has a daughter-in-law and her son who aren't close to him anymore. Carlos, a young boy, gets curious about his father's life and runs away to join Julián and his band of ex-people who haven't been. There, Carlos gets a taste of the wild and crazy life of these fake cowboys who drink a lot and party hard. As soon as Laura, a powerful businesswoman, finds out that Carlos has joined the hated Julián, she moves to get rid of even this last vestige of Julián's once-proud life. Julián and the cowboys decide to fight back in the only way they know how: with their guns.
