Heidi
Heidi is orphaned, and her callous maternal Aunt Dete sends her to live with her reclusive, grouchy paternal grandfather Adolph Kramer in the mountains. Heidi, with her lovely ways and pure affection, reintroduces her granddad into mountain society. When Dete reappears and abducts Heidi to become the companion of a wealthy man's wheelchair-bound daughter, the grandfather is heartbroken to realize his little girl has vanished and sets out to recover her.
