Le Jaguar
A shaman from South America's rain forest makes a public relations appearance in France. He meets a French good-for-nothing named Perrin in the elevator of a Paris hotel, and he is immediately taken with him. He then follows Perrin to his flat, and despite Perrin's reservations about the shaman's apparent interest in him, he allows the shaman to spend the night at his flat. The shaman suffers a heart attack the following day following an official meeting as part of the PR effort. He asks to see Perrin despite his inability to communicate and his position in a hospital bed. The latter is unenthusiastic about meeting the shaman once more. However, it appears as though it is too late for animosities, since the shaman and Perrin appear to be psychologically linked in some way since their elevator encounter.
