Rent
This rock opera chronicles the narrative of a year in the life of a group of bohemians attempting to make it in the current day East Village of New York City, in the United States of America. Mark and Roger, who are roommates, are at the heart of the narrative. Mark is trying to make a movie about life while Roger has been desensitized to it as a result of a previous tragedy. Mark is trying to capture life on film. The subsequent year is spent with the group navigating issues of love, loss, HIV/AIDS, and life in the current day.
