Pagan Peak
Two investigators are dispatched to investigate a gruesomely staged body found propped up on a mountain pass in the Alps near the German-Austrian border. This is the first genuine test for German detective Ellie; her Austrian colleague Gedeon, on the other hand, appears to have lost all interest in his work. Soon after, they come across other crime scenes involving symbolically posed victims, evoking pagan rituals. Everything appears to be part of a larger, evil scheme. Ellie is under growing pressure to figure out the crazy killer's motivations in order to stop him. The hunt takes them deeper into the dark valleys of the Alps, antiquated Alpine customs, and the killer's paranoid environment.
