Quantum Leap
In the Quantum Leap accelerator, Dr. Sam Beckett took a leap of faith, believing that he could travel back in time. Unknown forces had him awakened and confined in the past, forcing him to influence history for the better through the power of mirrored visions. When Al, an observer from Sam's own time, shows up in the shape of hologram, Sam can see and hear him. In this way, Dr. Becket finds himself bouncing from one existence to the next, trying to right the wrongs of the past while hoping that the next leap he takes will be the one that brings him back home again.
