Coyote Ugly
Violet Sanford, age21, is gifted with a velvet voice, and she moves to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a songwriter. However, her aspirations are sidelined by the accolades and notoriety she receives at her "day job" as a barmaid at Coyote Ugly, and she finds that her dream of becoming a songwriter is put on hold. The patrons and the media are both titillated by the absurd activities that the "Coyotes," as they are lovingly called, engage in, which is one of the reasons why Coyote Ugly has become the watering spot for guys who are on the lookout.
