Desperately Seeking Susan

Roberta is a dissatisfied suburban housewife who becomes obsessed with a lady named Susan, whom she only knows about because she reads messages to and from her in the personals section of the local newspaper. An advertisement with the headline "Desperately Seeking Susan" sparks the public's interest and leads to a proposed rendezvous between the two.
