Godzilla 1985
For the first time since its release in Japan as "The Return of Godzilla" in1984, "Godzilla1985" has been released in the United States. As a direct sequel to the 1956 "Godzilla King of the Monsters," which featured scenes with Raymond Burr edited into the 1954 "Godzilla," this 16th Godzilla film includes fresh footage of Burr. To recreate the original film's harsher tone, we see a massive lizard being destroyed by nuclear weapons as it terrorizes Japan.
