Basketball
The story is set during the turbulent years of Japanese occupation until independence, and a few years before Korea was divided into North and South. It is about the first and last time Korea had a single, unified national basketball team, which made history by reaching the quarterfinals of the 1948 London Olympics. The play depicts the loves, conflicts, unity, and emotional triumph of young athletes who cling to the sport as a ray of hope in their dark times.
