Hercules
Hercules is a 2005 RHI Entertainment television miniseries that follows the life of Hercules, the legendary Greek hero. The first part of the miniseries covers his early life in Tiryns, as well as his longing for and marriage to the lady Megara; the second part follows the more well-known phase of his life, in which he seeks penance for the madness-induced murders of his family. The series features five of Hercules' twelve labors from Greek mythology, as well as the murder of his family, which is normally left out of modern portrayals of the character. In Greek mythology, his father was the king of the gods, Zeus, but in the series, the gigantic Antaeus is his father.
