MasterChef
MasterChef is a BBC cookery competition show. It first aired from 1990 to 2001, and then it came back in a different format called MasterChef Goes Large and ran from 2005 on. In 2008, the "Goes Large" part of the name was dropped, but the format stayed the same. The new format was thought up by Franc Roddam and John Silver, and Karen Ross is in charge of making it happen. Now, there are four versions of the show: the main MasterChef series, MasterChef: The Professionals for working chefs, Celebrity MasterChef, and Junior MasterChef for kids ages 9 to 12. The format has been copied all over the world in a large number of different languages.
