Suburbia
Conceiço is a poor girl who moved out from Minas Gerais in pursuit of a better life away from the coal ovens. She flees on a cargo train to Rio de Janeiro, where she finds refuge with a loving family on the city's outskirts. She falls in love with Cleiton, a hardworking and rebellious young man who grew up without a father and lives between good and evil. Conceiço becomes a Brazilian funk sensation, yet she maintains her pure personality, ensuring her integrity in the face of life's challenges. These ordinary folks face the same challenge that we all do: how to keep your sense of justice, ethics, and morals in the face of violence, unfairness, and value decadence?
