Tarzan
Tarzan was a television series that aired on NBC from 1966 to 1968. Tarzan was portrayed in the series as a well-educated guy who had grown tired of civilisation and returned to the forest where he had been nurtured. The show preserved many of the trappings of the classic movie series, including Cheeta, while eliminating others, such as Jane, as part of producer Sy Weintraub's "new image" for the famous apeman presented in prior motion pictures starring Gordon Scott, Jock Mahoney, and Mike Henry. During the summer of1969, CBS aired rerun episodes of the show.
