Josh, a young boy, finds it difficult to adjust to his new school and friends after the Primm family relocates to New York City. That all changes, though, when he learns that Lyle, a singing crocodile who enjoys baths, caviar, and wonderful music, is residing in the attic of his new house. However, when Mr. Grumps, Lyle's wicked next-door neighbor, threatens to end Lyle's life, the Primms must join together to demonstrate to the world that family can come from the most unlikely of places.
