A warning is sent to the Danish army early on the morning of April 9th, 1940. In the face of Europe's most powerful army, Denmark is at war. Denmark's bike and motorbike companies have been dispatched to the south of Jutland to hold the forces back until the Danes can gather reinforcements. On April 9th, 1940, Second Lieutenant Sand and his bicycle company will be the first Danish soldiers to engage the enemy in combat.
